Yes. Ontario Auditor-General Shelley Spence this week reported that truck driver training and testing in Ontario is badly flawed, with untrained drivers and driving students who have not passed the proper driver exams causing many accidents on Ontario roadways. About 30% of private colleges which are allowed to offer driver training and testing have not been inspected by the Ministry of Transport, leading to abuses of the system.
